Lingtastic was founded on two original philosophies;

1. The customer should be charged close to what the interpreter is paid.
   
   For a long time big companies have hired interpreters in lower income countries.  They make large profits off their work.  The customer pays more and the translator is paid less.

2. A highly skilled and expensive interpreter with titled degrees is not always necessary.  We give the customer a choice between a professional interpreter or a fluent bilingual speaker with no actual qualifications
   
   If you have something simple to translate like getting directions or help renting a car, you do not need someone with years of education and experience.  You need someone who can tell you what you need to know. So why pay for more than you need?
   
   There are times that you may need a highly qualified interpreter, when precision is necessary. A visit to the doctor and a legal proceeding are two examples. We have expert interpreters available, but in general, you would probably be happy with someone who can just speak both languages well. Either way our rates are the best!
